Board of Supervisors – November 9th Meeting
The next Board of Supervisors Meeting is tonight at 7 pm. This meeting will be held in the Meeting Hall of the Municipal Complex, located at 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. The meeting will also be streamed online via Zoom, for residents unable to attend in person, but wish to watch and/or hear the meeting. Zoom links are provided on the Township website and Facebook page.
Public comments may be submitted in advance for those who can not physically attend the meetings or made in person. For those unable to attend in person, submit your public comment to info@towamencin.org until 4:30 pm the day of the meeting and your comment will be read at the beginning of the meeting.

Sidewalk & Trail Connectivity Study - Public Meeting #1 on November 10
The Township has engaged Simone Collins Landscape Architecture, the Township’s Planning Consultant, to perform a Sidewalk Connectivity Study. The study will be used to determine where additional sidewalks and/or trails should be provided to improve the ability to walk or bike within the Township. As part of the study, an online survey has been created to collect data from resident responses. Feedback from Township residents and other stakeholders will help prioritize desired locations for future sidewalks and trails.
The first public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 10, at 7 pm. This meeting will introduce the project and take place at the Township’s Meeting Hall Building at 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. The online survey will go live in conjunction with the first public meeting. See information flyer below.
Budget Work Session Added: November 16 at 7 pm
The Township has added another Budget Work Session to their Budget Schedule for Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7 pm. This meeting will be open to the public and will take place at the Township’s Meeting Hall, 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446.
This meeting will be held in person-only (no Zoom streaming) in the Meeting Hall of the Municipal Complex located at 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA.

Turkey Trot 5K - Saturday, November 12
We hope this year's Turkey Trot can move ahead as planned. Keep posted to the Township's Facebook page and website for any weather-related changes to this event.
Didn't register in time? No worries! Just come this Thursday and register in person! The course is certified with chip timing, race photographer, and all runners get a long sleeved tech shirt. The overall male and female winners receive turkeys and all of those placing 1st-3rd in each category get medals. There is a children’s 10 and under fun run, no registration necessary. The award ceremony takes place right after the race and offers light refreshments to runners and spectators. Pets and strollers are welcome. The day of event registration increases to $45 and does not guarantee a shirt.

Campaign Yard Sign Recycling Program
Montgomery County is running a campaign yard sign recycling program. The attached flyer contains details and a list of drop off sites around the county where campaign signs and metal stands can be brought for recycling. Hatfield Township and Lower Salford Township Buildings are local drop off sites.
The Township Administration Building will be closed this Friday, November 11th, for Veterans Day
