Celebrate America 250 with Towamencin Township on June 25, 2026!

On July 4, 2026, the United States will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Reaching this milestone invites us to reflect on our history, recognize the many individuals who have shaped our nation, and consider the future we hope to build for generations to come. Join us in celebrating our great nation—please save the date—Thursday, June 25, 2026! The celebration will include games, crafts, a petting zoo, food vendors, trivia, the Montgomery County Concert Band, historical organizations, and will close with a patriotic drone light show you won't want to miss. Reenactors will create a historic atmosphere, with visits from Uncle Sam the stilt walker, Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Ned Hector, and George and Martha Washington.
