Towamencin Township to Receive a $159,000 C2P2 Grant to Fund Grist Mill Park Trail

As part of Governor Josh Shapiro’s recent announcement, Towamencin Township was selected as a Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) grant recipient for $159,000. The funding will go toward additional Grist Mill Park improvements, including a pedestrian walkway, ADA access, stormwater management, landscaping, and related site enhancements. The proposed walking/biking trail will connect residential neighborhoods along Grist Mill Drive to the active recreation portion of Grist Mill Park, where new playground and other recreational features were added in 2025, as part of a previously awarded C2P2 Grant. Special thanks to CKS staff, who prepared the grant submission; State Representative Hanbidge and State Senator Pennycuick, who continuously support our projects; and Governor Shapiro.
