Meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place at the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale.  Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.


2024 Sewer Bills and Township and County Taxes

The 2024 sewer (or septic) bills have been issued. The Township and County Tax bills will arrive around March 1st. If you do not receive them by March 7th, please call 215-368-5357.

 Sewer Bill reminders:

 The sewer rental rate was increased from $450 to $590 to cover increasing sewer plant operating costs and to start raising funds for the township’s 8-year, $39 million sewer capital plan.

  • Sewer bills are due by June 30th.
  • Partial payments are accepted for sewer payments.  However, a 10% penalty is assessed on any unpaid balances after June 30th.
  • Online payments are accepted here.

 Tax Bill reminders:

  • The township tax rate remained at 5.689 mills for 2024.
  • The Montgomery County tax rate was increased from 4.237 mills to 4.788 mills.
  • The Township maintained the $50,000 homestead exemption in the 2024 budget: the fifth-largest municipal homestead exemption in the state.
  • Partial payments are NOT accepted for tax payments.
  • The discount period (2 % off) for taxes ends April 30, 2024. 
  • A 10% penalty is assessed on unpaid taxes after June 30, 2024.

Towamencin Electronics Recycling Event - Saturday, June 8th (9 am - 12 pm)

We are planning another event for residents to responsibly recycle their obsolete electronics. This service is available to all Towamencin residents and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. No smoke detectors or large appliances will be accepted. All data media will be destroyed or wiped! Additional details will be forthcoming.  Accepted electronic items include: Laptops, computers, peripherals, typewriters, mice, telephones, printers, fax machines, cameras, keyboards, cell phones, small appliances, calculators.

Items with fees: TV or computer monitor, air- conditioner, microwave or dehumidifier, wooden console or projection TVs.




Towamencin Day Announced - Saturday May 11th 

Mark your calendars, the Township's Annual Community Day will take place on Saturday, May 11th, from 12 pm - 4 pm at Fischer’s Park. This event includes live music, a food court, and an array of vendors and local community groups. This is a great event for the whole family and residents of all ages.
