Upcoming Meetings

  • Towamencin Municipal Authority will meet Monday, April 8, at 6pm - address 2225 Kriebel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446 
  • Open Space & Parks Advisory Committee will meet Monday, April 8, at 7pm
  • Environmental Advisory Council will meet Tuesday, April 9, at 7pm
  • Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday, April 10, at 7pm

Meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place at the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale.  Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the Church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.  


OSPAC Meeting Invitation – April 8th

The Open Space and Parks Advisory Committee will meet on Monday, April 8, at 7pm in the Township’s Meeting Hall. At this meeting, the Grist Mill Park Improvements Phase I Final Design will be discussed, in particular the inclusive playground. 

All residents are welcome to attend this meeting. Parents and guardians of children prone to eloping or with other special needs are encouraged to offer their input. If you are unable to attend, you may share your suggestions or concerns via email to info@towamencin.org. Responses will be shared with the Committee.  

The updated Grist Mill Park plans were presented at the Board of Supervisors’ last meeting on March 27th. Presentation link.

Reminder - the Primary Election is Tuesday, April 23. 


Fischer’s Park Rain Garden Maintenance – Wednesday, April 17 (1-3 pm)

The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy has another volunteer opportunity at Fischer’s Park on Wednesday, April 17, in the lead up to Earth Day. Help the Conservation team perform some maintenance on the rain garden located at Fischer's Park. Volunteers will meet in the parking lot.  Signup Link

Rain garden maintenance workday activities will include weeding the gardens, trimming dormant perennial tops, and removing litter from the gardens. All necessary tools will be provided. No experience needed! Please note the site is creek-side and might be muddy. This workday will be held weather permitting.
