Records Management Day, October 31st - Administration Building Closed to Public
Tuesday, October 31, 2023, has been designated as a Records Management Day. On this date, the Administration Building will be closed to the public to allow staff to organize and compile outdated documents for destruction and disposal in accordance with State Law. Please keep this in mind if you have in-person business to conduct such as permits, U&Os, making payments or other matters.
Municipal officers are authorized by the Pennsylvania Municipal Records Act to dispose of records in accordance with schedules and guidelines that have been approved by the Commonwealth's Local Government Records Committee. In conjunction with the disposal of various records, in 2013 the Finance Committee recommended to the Board that Township offices be closed once or twice each year for records management.
Board of Supervisors – October 25th Meeting
The Board of Supervisors' next meeting is October 25 at 7 pm, and will be held in the Meeting Hall of the Municipal Complex, located at 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. These meetings are streamed online via Zoom for residents unable to attend in person, but wish to watch and/or hear the meeting. Public comments may be submitted in advance for those who can not physically attend the meetings or made in person. For those unable to attend in person, submit your public comment to info@towamencin.org until 4:30 pm the day of the meeting and your comment will be read at the beginning of the meeting.

Budget Work Session - Meeting Date Change
The next Budget Work Session will be held on Wednesday, November 8, at 5 pm, prior to the scheduled Board of Supervisors Meeting. This meeting will be open to the public and will take place at the Township’s Meeting Hall, 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446. There will be no Budget Work Session on November 1, 2023.

This is a great race for runners or walkers of all levels. The course is certified with chip timing, race photographer, and all runners get a long sleeved tech shirt. The overall male and female winners receive turkeys and all of those placing 1st-3rd in each category get medals. There is a children’s 10 and under fun run, no registration necessary. The award ceremony takes place right after the race and offers light refreshments to runners and spectators. Pets and strollers are welcome. Online Registration closes November 5th. Course Map
Garden of Health Food Bank Food Drive Ends October 27 - Towamencin Drop-Off Location
There’s still another week left to support the Garden of Health Food Bank's food drive, which ends Friday, October 27th. Our Administration Building lobby is an additional drop-off location. See food requests within flyer. Please help this great cause with a donation!
From the Garden of Health Food Bank's website: We distribute fresh produce and food free of the top eight allergens to food pantries, low-income senior housing and community groups in Montgomery and Bucks Counties in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, these foods are not donated to food pantries on a regular basis but there is a need for them!
