Board of Supervisors – September 27 Meeting
The Board of Supervisors' next meeting is Wednesday, September 27, at 7 pm, and will be held in the Meeting Hall of the Municipal Complex, located at 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. These meetings are streamed online via Zoom for residents unable to attend in person, but wish to watch and/or hear the meeting. Public comments may be submitted in advance for those who can not physically attend the meetings or made in person. For those unable to attend in person, submit your public comment to info@towamencin.org until 4:30 pm the day of the meeting and your comment will be read at the beginning of the meeting.

Fischer’s Park Bocce Courts - Rehabilitation Work Underway
Our Public Works Department continues the rehabilitation work to the Fischer’s Park bocce courts. This work includes: installing a new retention wall, paver path and drainage to eliminate stormwater runoff. Top-A-Court LLC, a company specializing in construction and resurfacing tennis courts, will perform the new court installation, incorporating drainage features, this spring.
The project is coming along beautifully. This week our Public Works Department installed the retention wall and performed grading work. Next week, they will begin installing the paver walking paths and sidewalks around the courts. If you see them at the park, give them a thumb's up!
EAC Sponsored Composting Workshop - October 12
Are you unsure what to do with your kitchen, garden, and yard scraps? Would you like natural, home-made compost for your lawns and gardens in the spring? Towamencin's Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is sponsoring a Backyard Composting Workshop led by the Pennsylvania Resource Council. Join us to discover the importance and benefits of composting, the process, proper maintenance, and ways to use finished compost.
The EAC is again offsetting the cost for Towamencin residents, so this workshop is only $35 per person and includes a FreeGarden EARTH compost bin (bin alone retails for over $100!). This compost bin is ideal for suburban areas, has an 82-gallon capacity, and fits easily in the backseat of a regular sedan for transport home. Spots are limited so register today! Towamencin residents only.

Prizes awarded to the best dressed pet! Then, join us for the Addams Family 2 under the stars! We will have Travelin Hot Dogs selling their food so come hungry. FREE popcorn will be available! Candy and snacks will be available for purchase. Bring your blankets and chairs! The event is free to all.
