Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place in the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the Church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.

2026 Towamencin Day Visitors Guide – Saturday, May 30

Parking for Towamencin Day

  • Limited parking is available at Fischer’s Park.
  • Handicap parking is available at Fischer’s Park.
  • Once the park lot is full, overflow parking will be directed to Kriebel Road.

Kriebel Road Traffic Pattern (Event Day Only)

  • Enter Kriebel Road from Bustard Road.
  • Exit onto Springer Road.
  • Traffic will be one-way only.

Parking Rules on Kriebel Road

  • Parking will be allowed only on the non-creek side of the road (right side). The left side must remain clear for traffic.
  • After parking, walk toward Springer Road and enter Fischer’s Park through the back entrance next to the Arneth House.

Accepting Volunteer Applications - Elected Auditor Vacancy 

There is a vacancy on the Board of Auditors due to a recent resignation. The Board accepted the resignation at its May 27th meeting and is seeking applications through the close of business on June 17th, with the intention of appointing at the Board’s June 24th meeting. The individual appointed will serve until the next municipal election, with a term ending December 31, 2027.  Interested applicants should complete the Elected Auditors Application and return it to info@towamencin.org by June 17.

Towamencin Electronic Recycling Event - Saturday, June 13

Returning for 2026, our annual event for residents to responsibly recycle their obsolete electronics. This service is available to all Towamencin residents and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. No smoke detectors or large appliances will be accepted. All data media will be destroyed or wiped! Additional details will be forthcoming. Location: North Penn High School parking lot - 1340 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale - Accepted Items Include: Laptops, computers, peripherals, typewriters, mice, telephones, printers, fax machines, cameras, keyboards, cell phones, small appliances, and calculators. - Items with fees: TV or computer monitor, air conditioner, microwave or dehumidifier, wooden console or projection TVs. Residents must register through the Eventbrite link.


250 Years Strong — Let’s Celebrate Together on June 25!

On July 4, 2026, the United States will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Reaching this milestone invites us to reflect on our history, recognize the many individuals who have shaped our nation, and consider the future we hope to build for generations to come. Join us on Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 to 9:30 pm for a fun, family-friendly evening honoring our nation’s history. Enjoy games, crafts, a petting zoo, food vendors, trivia, music, and reenactors who will bring the past to life. We’ll wrap up the night with a spectacular patriotic drone light show you won’t want to miss!  Learn more
