Upcoming Meetings

Meetings are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Meetings take place in the Meeting Hall Building of the Municipal Complex unless otherwise indicated. Meeting Hall address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. Additional parking is available at the adjacent Family Worship Center parking lot. If using the Church's lot, we ask that our guests park on the side closest to the Township property.


Drug Take Back Day Drop-Off Location - Towamencin Police Department

This Saturday, April 25, from 10 am to 2 pm, drop off your unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications at our Police Department lobby. No liquids or sharps will be accepted. Address: 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446.


Township & County Taxes - Discount Period Ends April 30th

The 2% discount period for Township and County taxes ends on April 30th. You may drop off your payment in person, use our after-hours drop box, mail it, or pay online. If you have questions about your bill, call the Township at 215-368-5357.


Grist Mill Park Playground/Improvements Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony - Wednesday, April 29

The Township invites you to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Grist Mill Park Improvements Project. The ceremony will be held at Grist Mill Park on Wednesday, April 29, at 5:00 pm. The park is located at 1611 Allentown Road, Lansdale.

Notable improvements include an inclusive playground, a basketball court, cornhole and ping-pong activities, a pavilion, handicapped parking, and a perimeter trail. The Township received a $250,000 grant from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and a $175,000 DCED Local Share Account Grant. The success of this project is due to the support, dedication, and hard work of Township Supervisors and Staff, Peter Simone and Robert Gladfelter of Simone Collins Landscape Architecture, the Open Space and Parks Advisory Committee, Mary Stover of CKS Engineers, and grant funding assistance from State Senator Tracey Pennycuick and State Representative Liz Hanbidge.

Public Works Equipment Auction - Available Now on Municibid

According to §1504 of the Second-Class Township Code, the Board of Supervisors must approve the disposal of personal property. Items with a fair market value of $2,000 or more must be advertised and sold at auction. At the April 8 Board of Supervisors Meeting, the Board approved Resolutions 26-12 and 26-13, authorizing the sale of Public Works Department equipment on Municibid. The available equipment includes a Ferris IS3200Z Series mower and 2008 and 2009 International Dump Trucks. For details on the mower and trucks, see links below.

Towamencin Electronic Recycling Event - Saturday, June 13

Returning for 2026, our annual event for residents to responsibly recycle their obsolete electronics. This service is available to all Towamencin residents and small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. No smoke detectors or large appliances will be accepted. All data media will be destroyed or wiped! Additional details will be forthcoming. Location: North Penn High School parking lot - 1340 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale - Accepted Items Include: Laptops, computers, peripherals, typewriters, mice, telephones, printers, fax machines, cameras, keyboards, cell phones, small appliances, and calculators. - Items with fees: TV or computer monitor, air conditioner, microwave or dehumidifier, wooden console or projection TVs. Residents must register through the Eventbrite link.
