Tires
The proper disposal of tires will prevent the contamination of ground water and reduce breeding grounds for disease carrying mosquitoes. Tires may not be put in the trash and must be recycled. Montgomery County does NOT hold tire collection events. For a list of retailers that accept old tires and rims for a recycling fee, click here.
Document Shredding
Some municipalities and PA Representatives schedule confidential document shredding events for their residents or constituents. Please check your municipal website and Representatives for scheduled events. Montco does NOT hold countywide document shredding events.
Electronic Waste
-Goodwill Keystone stores in Montco, Chesco, Berks, and Bucks are now accepting electronics for reuse or recycling as well as clothing and household items. This is a FREE drop-off service for televisions, computers, and other electronics.
