The next Board of Supervisors Meeting is tomorrow Wednesday, July 27 at 7 pm. This meeting will be held in the Meeting Hall of the Municipal Complex, located at 1090 Troxel Road, Lansdale. The meeting will also be streamed online via Zoom, for residents unable to attend in person, but wish to watch and/or hear the meeting.

We are currently seeking food and business vendors for our rescheduled community day on Saturday, October 8th. It is an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to increase awareness and connect with the community.

We are excited to announce a rescheduled date for our annual community day on Saturday, October 8th! NEW this year is Ax Throwing. We are welcoming back FREE face painting/balloon animals, pony rides, police/fire activities, inflatables, magic shows, and much more! The event includes live music, food court, and an array of vendors and local community groups. This is a great event for the whole family and residents of all ages. Towamencin Police Department Event: Back to School Supply Drive
Our officers and staff of the Towamencin Township Police Department are collecting school supply donations up until Wednesday August 24, 2022. A donation bin will be in the police department lobby 24/7. Detailed school supply lists can be found in the "discussion" section of the event. Your donations will benefit the following North Penn School District elementary schools in Towamencin Township: Inglewood, Walton Farm, and General Nash.

Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate - Application Deadline Extended
The deadline for older and disabled Pennsylvanians to apply for rebates on rent and property taxes paid in 2021 was extended from June 30 to December 31, 2022.
The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians age 65 and older, widows and widowers age 50 and older, and people with disabilities age 18 and older. The income limit is $35,000 a year for homeowners and $15,000 annually for renters, and half of Social Security income is excluded. You can apply online at mypath.pa.gov.
Under state law, the annual deadline for the program is set as June 30. However, the law requires the Department of Revenue to evaluate the program to determine if funds are available to extend the deadline. To date, funding has been available to allow all who qualify, meaning the deadline can be extended to December 31 for the current year.
