Parks Clean-up Reminder: (trashed bathrooms, litter at playgrounds)

While we realize this message is not applicable to most of our park patrons, it is necessary to remind some to exercise mindfulness and common courtesy when using our public spaces by picking up after yourselves, your children, and dogs if applicable. There have been regular incidents of trashed bathrooms at our parks – toilet paper rolls removed, intentionally overstuffed toilets, excessive trash left all over – and trash discarded about our playgrounds and trails.

This adds extra time and expense for clean-up services that could be better spent elsewhere simply because a few choose to be careless and destructive. The Township has added several trash and recycling receptacles over the last year for convenient disposal. We thank those who go out of their way to pick up items they encounter during their visits to our parks. Should you see any suspicious behavior at our parks, please report it to Township staff at 215 368-7602.
