The Towamencin Parks & Recreation Department provides diverse
year-round leisure opportunities through the preservation of open
space, park settings, recreational facilities and programs for the
citizens of Towamencin Township. The benefits of leisure services
are especially designed to meet the physical, mental, cultural, and
social needs of our residents and visitors to our community, while
enhancing the overall quality of life in Towamencin.

Park, Recreation and Open
Space Preservation Plan Update
In accordance with the guidelines of the Montgomery County Green
Fields/Green Towns Program, Township staff, Consultants and an
Advisory Committee made up of Township Residents has been working to
update the Township's Park, Recreation and Open Space Preservation
Plan that was last revised in 1995. Attached the Park, Recreation
and Open Space Preservation Plan that was approved by the Montgomery
County Open Space Board.
Preservation Plan This is a very large document(11.7mb) and will
take time to open.
