The Don’t Call Me Francis Band

is a ten member, multi-instrumental ensemble, capable of performing every style of music, both past and present. “DCMF” is one of the most requested bands in the Philadelphia tri-state area and beyond. “DCMF” is more than just a cover band. With over 25 years of experience in the industry and a heavy portion of stage showmanship, their sole purpose is to make the audience get out of their seats and dance, along to songs that have dominated the charts for years. The band generates this amazing and explosive energy to the audience from the beginning of the night to the very end. The band is composed of multi-talented musicians including long standing members Mary Harris, Billy Garrett and Randy Chick. Now featuring, the late Francis Orsini’s daughter, Adriana Orsini. Several individuals in the band are front people, which has made them a staple in the music industry.

Imagine being part of the scene when the songs spoke of love, sunshine, and happiness.  The Large Flowerheads bring to life the musical sights & sounds of the ‘60s.  They "look like the 60s with their Paisley shirts and Nehru jackets and they sound enough like the bands of that era to be the real thing." - Jack Fichter, Cape May County Herald

Welcome to the 80s!!!! FEEL FREE TO DRESS UP FOR THIS FUN NIGHT!
The Class of 84 has played a wide range of events and venues including clubs, birthday parties, an 80s themed night at a Phillies game, opening for Biz Markie at the TLA in Philly, weddings, wedding after parties, class reunions, MusikFest, and numerous other outdoor festival/events.


Gone to the Dog

Great Friends Making Great Music.  Thirty Years and Counting!  Based out of Philadelphia, PA, Gone to the Dogs joyfully performs their incredibly diverse repertoire of Folk Rock, Bluegrass, Irish, Jazz, Country, and original music.


Movie in the Park - Wreck it Ralph 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet

Bring the family out to enjoy a movie under the stars! This is a great way to savor summer before heading back to school.  FREE popcorn will be available.  Candy/snack will be sold by Relay for Life of Eastern Montgomery County. Bring your blankets and chairs!


Turkey Trot 5k Walk/Run

Dates:  Saturday, November 16th
Time: 9:00am rain or shine
Cost: $30 prices increases 10/6
Location: Fischer’s Park - 2225 Bustard Road Lansdale, PA 19446

Time to start training for the Turkey Trot 5k Walk/Run! This is a great race for runners or walkers of all levels.  The course is certified with chip timing, race photographer, and all runners get a long sleeved tech shirt.  The overall male and female winners receive turkeys and all of those placing 1st-3rd in each category get medals.  There is a children’s 10 and under fun run, no registration necessary.  The award ceremony takes place right after the race and offers light refreshments to runners and spectators.  Pets and strollers are welcome.  NO WALK UP REGISTRATION.

August 1st – Online Registration Opens
October 6th – Early Registration Ends and Price Raises to $35
November 10th – Online Registration Ends
November 14th – Shirt/Bib Pick up at Township Building 9am-7pm
November 16th- 7:30am Shirt/Bib Pick up at Race, 8:00am Fun Run, 9:00am Race, 10:00am Award Ceremony

Holiday Lights Festival - December 7th


Dates: Saturday, December 7th (rain date for tree lighting only, Friday Dec. 13th at 7pm)
Time: 4:30pm-8:30pm
Cost: Event is free
Location: Fischer’s Park - 2225 Bustard Road Lansdale, PA 19446

Surrey Rides: $5 per person for Large Surrey, $5 per person for walk-on (cash/check only)
$30 for Small Carriage Private Ride (Lap riders are free)

Come out to our last event of the year! Take a whimsical stroll through Towamencin’s winter wonderland of lights and holiday cheer. Our annual Tree Lighting will take place at 6pm when Santa Claus arrives.  FREE pictures with Santa will be from 6pm-8pm. Hop on the horse drawn surreys that take you around the park to see all the light displays and decorated trees by the local girl scout troops.  The local boy scouts will be handing out FREE hot chocolate, cookies, and roasting marshmallows.  Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season by visiting our volunteer acts in the amphitheater.
