Holiday Lights Festival and Tree Lighting - December 5th

The Township plans on moving forward with our Holiday Light Festival on December 5th. The park will be decorated and lit up for the community and guests to enjoy. Trees will be decorated by the Girl Scouts and we will have FREE refreshments from our local Boy Scout Troops. As always, our annual horse drawn wagon/carriage rides will be back.

This year there will not be any NO WALK ON’s. You must reserve a wagon or carriage ride in advance and we are only booking the entire wagon/carriage by time slot this year.

Our annual tree lighting will take place from 6-7 pm featuring the Montgomery County Concert Band’s Tuba Quartet. Santa Claus will light the tree at 6:30 pm and attendees will be expected to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. There will be NO LAP pictures with Santa for this year. Registration for the Surrey Carriage and Wagon Rides will open on November 2nd. Please check our Events page on Monday morning to reserve.

County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events

Household hazardous waste events are back and with more dates! The big change under COVID is that DEP is requiring that all attendees are pre-registered so that we can control how many people are on site at any time. Please see linked flyer for additional info and registration links.
